Salvation

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 KJV

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Lord Jesus, I believe in You. I believe you died and paid the price for my sins, and I receive what You did for me. I believe Father raised You from the dead. I give You my life, and I confess You as Lord.

If you prayed to make Jesus Lord of your life, you need to tell someone. Tell me!
 I rejoice with you!

Jesus said,

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32-33 KJV

Now, you need the Word of God! You need to have your mind renewed with the life of God, and you’ll experience that life flowing through your body as well. So, get a Bible! You have to watch some of the newer translations, you want a Bible that follows the Hebrew and Greek, not a paraphrase. You can’t go wrong with the King James Version. There are many online Bibles as well. Many resources.

Next, find a church. In these last days, it’s important to be in fellowship. Ask Father to lead you to the right church. A Word church. One of the last days signs is a falling away from truth, preachers no longer teaching the Bible but teaching an altered view. This deception is a slow transition, and a person will not even know it’s happening except by the Word of God. You say, “A preacher?!” Yes, everyone has to take heed. That includes pastors and teachers of the Bible.

When asked about the end of the age, Jesus said, “... Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Mark 13:5-6 KJV

There are so many important things for you to learn! Things I wish I was taught when I first received Jesus.
  • God really loves you! He really wants you!
  • You are a spirit, you have a soul, you live in a body
  • Foundational principles
  • Being led by Holy Spirit
  • Pleading the Blood of Jesus
  • The authority of the believer
Some good resources here.

All of us are still learning, and if you prayed to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, you are now on your way! Glory to God!

My prayer for you:

Father, I pray for this one who has made a decision to follow Jesus. I ask You to guide them to the right resources, the right church, and give them wisdom to know what to do in these last days. In Jesus’ Name!
